HUD released an updated version of the Assignment, Assumption, and Amendment of Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Contracts. Beginning on the release date (8/15/2024), HUD is now requiring the use of this form for any assignment of a Section 8 project-based rental assistance (PBRA) Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contract.
