CAHI Partners with AHMA-NCH to Offer Free Web-Based Training Opportunities

California Affordable Housing Initiatives, Inc. (CAHI) and CGI, along with our industry partners, Affordable Housing Management Association, Northern California and Hawaii (AHMA-NCH), are pleased to extend an invitation to AHMA-NCH members and owners and representatives of contracts within CAHI’s Northern California PBCA portfolio to attend the below web-based training sessions free of charge:

 

Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11amPST – Section 8 Renewal Guide Updates

This web-based informational session will cover the major updates to the revised Section 8 Renewal Policy Guide released on August 7, 2015 and will examine the impact that these updates will have on Multifamily Section 8 properties.

 

Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11amPST Utility Allowance Analysis Requirements

This web-based informational session will cover updates to Utility Allowance Analysis guidance as set forth in HUD Notice 2015-04 and the HUD HQ-released Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

 

To register for a session, please visit the home page of cahi-oakland.org and click the Industry Training Opportunities link at the bottom right hand corner of the page. When registering, you must provide the Section 8 contract number for your property located within the CAHI PBCA portfolio and/or indicate that you are a current AHMA-NCH member.

 

We strongly encourage that when registering you ask a question or raise a concern to be addressed during the session(s). Questions asked during the sessions may not be answered because of time constraints.

 

There are limited web connections/phone lines available for these sessions. When possible, we ask that you register only one person and then assemble multiple participants in one location using one web connection and one phone line.
